Patience & Fortitude

Times are changing!

I’ve not been updating the daily “Inspirational” because for the past week I’ve been in stunned haze, practically walking into walls.

For a good reason, though: I have finished graduate school!

I am graduating with my Master’s in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University, after two years of continual, full-time classes (even summer terms)!

Those two years have been stunning in a lot of good and bad ways; I got divorced and laid off in early 2010, then started gradschool that fall. During the following two years I wrote Grieving Futures, several genre romance novels (which sold), set up this blog and my main professional website, started the Skeptic’s Inspirational, came down with whooping cough (which threw my back out), developed a short-term asthma attack from mold exposure at work, had both cats undergo major surgery, and…other stuff, I’m sure. Along with the gradschool thing.

Whoa.

So I’m kind of freaking out while really cleaning my house up (it’s been a disaster since I came down with WC over the winter holidays…yes, really) and looking for full time work and writing more fiction and, did I mention, FREAKING OUT!

It’s all good though. Amazing and terrifying and awesome. Thanks for coming along on this crazy ride!

To be continued!
